If you’re a content producer using WordPress this tip is for you.
One of the things that you might consider doing on a somewhat regular basis in addition to hopefully you’re hosting is backing up your WordPress site.
I don’t remember the exact name of a plugin that does it and it’s called duplicator. What it will do is we’ll take a snapshot of your WordPress site and then store it on your server. Even better is if you take that and then download it to your computer so you’ve got a copy.
Hosting companies typically provide backup services for you. I’m just saying this is another line of defence in case there’s an issue.
God forbid your hosting provider doesn’t keep an accurate or up to date copy of your site that’s where something like the duplicator plugin which will create a snapshot save it on your site so that you can download it onto your computer if useful.
Thanks.
